Excellent and cosy accomodation near Lake Kawaguchiko. The room was very nicely furnished and it was all the little touches of nature within the room that made it all that bit more cosy. The beds were really comfortable, and there was a great view of Mount Fuji from the room as well. There was also a private onsen which provided that nice respite after a long day out. The lounge chairs out on the balcony made for a good place to relax and sip coffee and enjoy the stunning views of Mount Fuji. The staff were exceptional in their service and hospitality. Food was phenomenal too. Breakfast and dinner menus were 12-course meals and honestly it felt a bit too extravagant to be eating like kings and queens for each meal. You can definitely do with just a real light lunch. We drove around Kawaguchiko area, so parking was quite accessible as well. The accomodation is a short drive to Oishi Park where one can catch beautiful sunsets with a view of Mount Fuji and Lake Yamanaka. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and it made our vacation here just that much more special. :)

Plus all the little touches made the experience so memorable - (mostly) refillable complimentary mini bar which had bottled beer, juice, and snacks, the scented volcanic rock and volcanic rock filtered water, the in-room fire that the staff can set up for you, and the filter coffee equipment, pajamas, and loungewear that is available! There is also complimentary free flow tiny canned beer, juice, and milk coffee from the public onsen, outdoor public fireplace that the staff can set up for you in the evenings, and the wi-fi is great. As a group of 7, we were provided the restaurant private room for every meal, with a beautiful view of the grounds. Truly had a magical experience at Fufu.

At keiseki dinner and breakfast, as a family with kids, the service was very polished, and the server really could anticipate our needs and acted proactively, to the point of surprising us! The meals were elaborate and of extremely high quality. Both the public onsen and the private in-room onsen were excellent. And of course, the view of Mount Fuji was super impressive! All Fufu hotels are designed with maximum customer privacy in mind. While the hotel is not right next to the coast of Lake Kawaguchiko but is instead "hidden" in a valley, the feeling of being inside a forest yet with Mount Fuji still highly visible, the picture is really surprisingly next level! A perfect, perfect stay overall!
